Mac was part of a cat colony living next to a local lake on property owned by a boat club. Mac and several other cats had been there for years, and they had a dedicated caretaker. When the manager of the club decided he didn’t want the cat colony there anymore, his caretaker was able to find homes for all of the cats except for Mac and two of his friends.  We took them in.

Mac is sweet and laid back and keeps to himself. When we give the cats wet food in the evening Mac will hang back until everyone else has eaten. We make sure he has his own bowl and everyone else has theirs.

Mac has recently formed a strong bond with Gertie, so when we moved Gertie to Evan’s Cottage, Mac went with her.
