An employee of Mollie’s Cat Place rescued Holly from a relative’s property because she appeared to be in poor health. She was treated at our vet and recovered with no lasting complications. Holly is friendly, but she can be unpredictable. Holly is used to being an outside cat, and that’s what she prefers. We bring her inside in the evening, and by morning she is meowing to go back out, and it doesn’t seem to matter how hot or cold it is. In winter we put a heating pad wrapped in a blanket outside for her, and in summer we make sure she has a shady place to lie down out of the elements, and plenty of water to drink.
