Sweetie was described by his rescuer as a young “totally out of control mean feral cat”.  He was trapped as part of a TNR project (Trap-Neuter-Return), and his trappers noticed he had an injured right front leg. Repeated procedures to heal the leg, including therapy and skin grafts, were all unsuccessful, and the vet determined his leg needed to be amputated. After several weeks of healing, his rescuer didn’t know what to do with him. She didn’t want to return him to the outdoors as a tripod, and she was afraid he would be unhappy in a house or a catio. We accepted him into Molie’s Cat Place, where he can go outside and still be safe inside a cat fence.
