We got Socks from a woman who was renting a horse property where there were many barn cats. He was emaciated and covered in sores from what appeared to be a cat fight.  The woman took him to her vet where he was given antibiotics and patched up, and he spent several months recuperating in her house. When her lease ran out and she had to move she put him back in his outdoor home, but once again his health started to decline rapidly and she was afraid he would not survive. Fortunately we were able to make space for him at Mollie’s Cat Place.
