Esteban is special — he has one green eye and one blue eye, a striking condition called heterochromia. Who knew such beautiful mismatched eyes existed?

At heart, Esteban is a sweet, gentle boy. Sure, he can be a little grumpy from time to time, but who wouldn’t be, at 10 years old and dealing with a painful mouth?

Esteban suffered from a severe case of stomatitis, and the shelter made the compassionate decision to remove all of his teeth so he could finally live pain-free. Worried that his age and toothless smile would make him harder to place, the shelter reached out to Mollie’s — and we were happy to give Esteban the second chance he deserved.
