Donnie is a sweet people-loving cat who had been living outdoors as part of a cat colony. When he was taken to a vet for neutering and rabies vaccination it was determined he was positive for FeLV, which can be contagious to other cats. We agreed to take him in, and he now lives in Mikey’s Place with several other FeLV positive cats. Donnie likes to climb trees. He gave us a scare the first time we found him about 25 feet up in the branches of a tall tree, and we were wondering how in the world we were going to get him down. We needn’t have worried; soon he came down by himself.
